The 7th Annual PROVINCETOWN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL,
June 15-19 2005, will honor Director/Screenwriter Mary
Harron as the 2005 Filmmaker on the Edge. Mary Harron is as
controversial as her films (I Shot Andy Warhol, 1996,

for telling the truth, however unpopular. Her forthcoming
The Notorious Bettie Page, starring Gretchen Mol, is much
anticipated and slated for release in 2005 by HBO Films. In
addition, Harron has directed some of televisions edgiest
shows, including "The L Word," "Six Feet Under" and "Oz."
