Photo COLLECTION
-
- Barry Seybert, like myself (Mike), was resident at
Tent City during the turbulent days of the struggle
to
- preserve the historic site where the events of May
1970 occured. (For more information on the Gym
- Struggle link to our Tent City and Gym Struggle home
page.) The thumbnails you see below, which will
- link to larger photos, were taken by Barry.
-
- I met Barry briefly this past May 4 at the 30th
Commemoration (I don't remember him from Tent City,
- possibly because time has taken it's toll on my
memory or because there were just too many people
involed
- to remember everyone.) Barry was displaying his
collection in the Kent State Archives which is located
in
- KSU's library. Eventually we will be printing more
about Barry's experiences and motivations
- surrounding his collection.
-
- And finally, we want to thank Barry for allowing us
to display his photos and to Nancy Birk, KSU's chief
- archivist, for her help in making this possible. Mike
and Kendra's Kent State, May 4, 1970 Web
- Site http://www.devaughn.com/may4
- This frame in Mike and Kendra's May 4, 1970 home
page
- details new additions to the site as well as
containing a
- site search engine.
