---PPete's
Celebrity Scene coverage started with the
Philadelphia Tribune, and continued in the
Hollywood Gazette, Show Business, Drama
Logue, The Las Vegas-Hollywood Magazine,
The Las Vegas Tribune, North Las Vegas
News are a few of the publications that
publish PeteÄôs reports
on a weekly basis.
---Pete
Allman was born in Rome, New York
in 1947 His parents were from
Zurich, Switzerland and owned and
operated a super market. His
mother, Martha, was a popular
opera singer, who's charm, as
Pete put it, says, "kncked his
father off his feet." Peter
graduated from Rome Free Academy
in 1966. He then went on to New
York City to attend the New York
Academy of Theatrical Arts.
---
After
attending acting school for six
months, he moved west to
Hollywood where he worked for Pat
Boone in the Hollywood Vine
Theatre. In just a matter of
time, Peter began singing,
performing in various clubs in
southern California. But his
aspirations were such that he
pursued a journalism career along
with radio and television.
---
Peter
wrote for various publications
which include The Philadelphia
Tribune, Hollywood Gazette, Show
Biz, and many others. He got his
first taste of television in
Compton, California where he had
his own variety show on cable
with actor Lincoln Kilpatrick.
---
In
Hollywood, Peter had his own
weekly show on KSCI, channel 18
with his Hollywood in Action
Segment. Peter was anywhere and
everywhere known as 'the man on
the scene' interviewing the likes
of Morgan Freeman, Anthony Quinn,
Martin Sheen, Sally Kirkland to
sports legends such as Evander
Holyfield, Muhammad Ali, to
Michael Jordan, Shaquielle O'Neal
and the list goes on with over
50,000 combined interviews for
radio, television and
print.
---In
1978 Peter moved to Las Vegas and
helped promote the careers of
Kirby Van Burch, known as the
Prince of Magic, and Lynn Ashley
through his own review which
began at the Fremont Hotel. The
Marina which is now the MGM Hotel
and Casino and the Jockey Club.
But his love for writing, talk
radio, and television favored the
entertainment.
---
Since that
time he has promoted positive
awareness of the Las Vegas
community through the Las Vegan
Report, Vegas Now, and the CMX
Sports and Entertainment
television shows; three hundred
to date. Most rewarding though
is his love in helping to clean
up the streets of Downtown Las
Vegas.
---Allman
was the first to organize the
Take Back Our Streets March with
Earl White and Mayor Oscar
Goodman. He is currently on the
board of St. J.O.H.N.'S. Project,
and was guest speaker at the Weed
and Seed Program in Los Angeles.
Mr. Allman believes in the
rejuvenation of downtown Las
Vegas of which he has written
about in the Las Vegas Tribune,
North Las Vegas News, and Las
Vegas Hollywood Magazine,
including the internet
publication,
vegascommunityonline.com
---In
working with the downtown
business operators counsel and
the chronic nuisance committee,
his hopes are that one day the
streets of downtown Las Vegas
will have a new revitalization to
it; especially in the new
entertainment district. We
salute Peter Allman for his
positive insights in reporting
for print, radio, and television
for the downtown business
area.
---
Pete was also on
the Talk America Radio Network, Cable
Radio Network, KDWN 720 AM and is
currently on KLAV 1230 AM and KKVV 1060 AM
As a result of producing some four hundred
television shows, such as Vegas Insights,
The Las Vegan Report, CMX Sports and
entertainment and now Celebrity Scene
News, which will air on UPN. Pete is also
involved as the director of Public
Relations for the Downtown Business
Operators Council and is on the board of
the Saint J.O.H.N.
----"The
first time I was at Rosemont Studios in
Pasadena, California, in the 70," says
Entertainer, tviNews ePublisher Troy Cory.
"In fact he was introduced to me by movie
producer, Al Fast".
---During
that last 19 years Pete has interviewed
well over 30,000 people, many of whom are
notables from Oprah Winfrey, Larry King,
and Red Skelton to legendary actors
Anthony Quinn, Morgan Freeman and James
Earl Jones to sports figures Oscar De La
Hoya and Evander Holyfield. Pete is a
versatile communicator. He has written for
over 40 publications with Celebrity Scene
News, TVI Magazine, Vegas Flash and
Hollywood In Action columns. Pete segued
from journalism to radio and television
working initially with James Brown, The
Godfather of Soul, Robert Goulet, Troy
Cory and Englebert Humperdinck. Pete's
interviews are uplifting and
inspirational.
---What
the majority of folks don't know about is
Pete's entertainment background. He
started in Houston, Texas with Bubba
Thomas and The Lightmen as a vocalist and
promoter where he developed jazz clubs in
restaurants. After working with Bubba,
Pete relocated to Las Vegas, opening his
own revue at the Fremont Hotel, later
moving to the The Marina Hotel on the
"Strip," now the MGM. He was also
instrumental in exposing artists such as
Kirby Van Burch, The Prince of Magic and
dancer/singer Lyn Ashley to Las Vegas.
---
In
the 90's, Pete branched out into producing
television commercials for such clients as
Sam Woo BBQ, Dragon Sushi and The Olympic
Garden Gentlemen's Club. He continues to
produce local commercials which are cost
effective with the same quality as
national commercials. Pete has effectively
employed such names as
comedy-legend/singer Steve Rossi, actor
Michael DeLano, actress Gale Baker and
entertainer/actor Mayf L. Nutter for
product endorsements.
---
Pete
is currently in production with the
televised version of Las Vegan Report
airing weekly on LookRadio.com, Warner
Brothers - Las Vegas, cable 12 and UPN 25.
He holds the titles of Executive Director
of Public Relations for Las Vegan Magazine
and is Executive Producer, Director and
Host of The Las Vegan Report.
---
Pete
enjoys his positions as broadcaster,
producer and talk-show host. He is
available for lectures and tourism
promotion for vacation destination spots
throughout the United States and
abroad.
---Pete
is also President of Celebrity Scene News

Massachusetts and is also heard on Cable
Radio Network (CRN) on shows Take It To
The Limit with Buck Hunter, The Jersey Boy
