Commencing
in 1980, Television International Magazine featured
Mickey Mouse on various covers, by co-founder of
TVI Magazine, Al Preiss. At times, you would find
Mr. Preiss and his wife Silvia, hand delivering the
magazine personally, at trade shows around the
world. Al selected Mickey on its special "Pay
Television" September issue 1980. Disney at the
time was just releaseing its first major entry into
home video entertainment with the release of 13
Disney motion pictures on cassette.
