computer world) -- is the work product of
TROY CORY'S VINE STREET VIDEO CENTER
-- Hollywood.
-----The
streaming video and firewire technology
that will be used during the summertime
webcasts from China 2004, was commenced at
Vine Street Vidio Center in the late 70s.
The studio is one of Hollywood's first
"privatized" television studios, not
affiliated with any particular television
station. Instead, it was at one time owned
by, or leased to the producers of several
daily national TV programs, music videos
producers, and played host to the national
syndicated Troy Cory Show.
-----But
the studio has an interesting history.
Since its opening in 1926, 1224 North Vine
Street was consistently on the best
theater/studio list for moviegoers,
moviemakers, and performers alike. It was
Troy that converted the same powerful
address that once PROJECTED the movies and
television shows of Samual Goldwyn, Jessie
Lasky, Groucho Marx, Art Linkletter and
Steve Allen, to a modern day studio that
created the fast, hot music MTV videos, as
we see them today.

The world's first
DVDs (laser disc), and LookRadio streaming
digital video for the Internet were
developed at Vine Street Video in the late
70s. The tv-studio created some of best
selling videos for Rod Stewart, Jackson
Browne, Randy Meisner (the Eagles), Tom
Petty, Warren Zevon, Bob Welch, James
Coburn (Schlitz Light) and Ronald Mcdonald
for (McDonalds) -- just to name a few.
