----In 1988, Troy Cory, Joey Lauren Adams and The Brooke Sisters, were the first entertainers from the United States to appear in a full staged program in the People's Republic of China and on China's National Television, viewed by over 300 million people.
----"It was at the '88 Shanghai TV Festival, where I first met President Jiang Zemin and China's Premier Zhu Rongji", Troy said in a recent interview. "I was quite surprised when I first saw President Zemin's photo in the Los Angeles Times -- stating that he was selected as China's President and Chief of the Communist Party. It was a great feeling to know I had met two of China's biggest leaders during my performances. President Zemin has been a big help to me in many ways -- ever since.

----The Troy Cory Concert Stage Show is a musical program that features Troy & The Brooke Sister and the California Goodtime Band, and is video taped under the direction and auspices of VRA TelePlay Pictures. The "live" segments of the Show are performed on actual locations, stage settings, or during concerts that take place in locations throughout the world including, China, Germany, Holland, France, Italy and in, May 1989 - Russia. "It's a great feeling to do live show's," said Troy, some of the concert halls and stadiums hold audiences up to 100,000 people, a guy can really get excited."
----Troy and his backup singers, The Brooke Sisters, and now, the 14 year old, Sterling Rice and the Hawaiian Tropic Performers, represent years of professional experience backed most efficiently by true talent and genuine sincerity. Many of Troy's special occasion songs, (romantic, country-pop, disco, rock, blues, Christmas) were written and recorded in London, Munich and in China in order to achieve certain moods for there use in film and video. Some of Troy's early country songs were recorded in Nashville, Tennessee and Jackson, Mississippi, "now," says Troy, "they're recorded in Worcester, England, not far from Shakespeare's quaint hometown, the real country."
----A few of the co-authors and record companies Troy wrote with, and recorded for, were; Sonny Bono (Specialty Records), Robert and Richard Sherman, Ralph Freed, Bob Roberts (Disney, Bingo, Hermit and Mercury Records, Philles Records), Jimmy Missina (IBIS Records), Sylvester Livi, and Ambros Seelos (Cinema Prize, Jupiter, VIRE Records, UFA), Henry Boong, Muff Murfin and Bill Wolf Hartmayer for (VRA Radio Play Music USA, and SAV Records, of The People's Republic of China). Some of Troy's writing anonymous were, Swafford, Sharon, Sigl, Lysi, and Donna.
