"Disappointment
Diaries", "To Kill With a Song" and
Troy Cory's China Harbin "Live" Webcast,
Offered To NATPE TV Programmers
In Addition to "Disappointment
Diaries" and "To Kill With a Song", VRA has
inked with web telecaster, LookRadio, for two new
1-hour special episodes of the Troy Cory's China
Harbin "Live" Webcast, co-produced in China by China
TV, House of Blues, Media 100, Terran, QDesign, TVI
Magazine, China Expo 2000, Eine Traum Produktion, and
Firewire Media. The Show was video taped in
August, 2000, in Harbin, China.
Lookradio will continue its own
"To Catch A Song" format franchise, with 24
segments to be produced for next year, and VRA has agreed
to distribute the "V-Music" programming format.
"Disappointment Diaries, and
the Kill With a Song
format
programs, ("D-Diary"
and "C-Song"), -- could become valuable weapons,
for both the independent TV broadcaster, and the new
breed TV webcaster, who wish to go international", said
Bernie Schwartz, President and CEO of VRA
TelePlay Previews, the program distribution and
development company based in Universal City,
California.
- "Proven to drive audience and demo
numbers up on the web, D-Diary and
"live"
C-Song formatted shows, embrace all of the essentials
necessary to make entertaining television. The format
includes great music, timely topics, interesting
characters, killings, war, history and is told in a
"Tongue in Cheek"- "Whodunit?" fashion."
Whether in the form of a reality or a forensic
program, LookRadio's own D Diaries is available on
the web daily by -- Video On Demand, (VoD) -- and
To Kill With A Song. The D-Diary format is
creating high rating hits on the web, "because the shows
are broken down to 3 to 6 minute segments -- which
enables the broadcaster to play any segment they wish --
at any time of the day - to fill in idletime.", said
Bernie.
There's no reason D-Diaries, which are
available on the web "live", utilizing its S90tv
system, or: by streaming the (VoD) content,
To Kill With A Song,
in the D-Diary format, could not create big
ratings for indie TV stations, "because the shows are
broken down to 3 to 6 minute segments -- which are short,
sweet and entertaining", said Bernie Schwartz.
The valuable weapons Disappointment Diaries,
and To Kill With a Song' offer, include Mel
Carter, Dennis
Weaver, Joey
Adams, Sam
Butera, Pete
Allman, James
Brown, Troy
Cory and the real historical footage of Ronald

The series, in part, were co-produced by Shanghai TV,
CCTV, Beijing, Bohemia Film, Markiza TV and Bratislavia

The China Harbin Troy Cory webcast was webcast "live"
on August 12, 2000 by: LookRadio; House of Blues; Yahoo;
BreakTV.com; wwbc.net; Media100.com; Terran.com;
Barnetwork.com and the People's Republic of China's,
CCTV. Over 300 million people viewed the TV show in
China.
Discovery and A&E get their highest numbers on
nights with forensic programming, and TLC has seen
increases in both households and demos as a direct result
of forensic program scheduling.
In the U.K., the top spots on the documentary charts
were all filled by forensic programs this past fall,
Forensic Detectives on Discovery, ranked #1 and
CABLEready's Medical Detectives took the #3, 4 and 5
spots in September, and kept the 3rd and 4th spots
throughout October.

Set to Reveal New Developments in its affiliations with The
Worldwide Broadcast Network
Television International Magazine and
Smart90, the developer of LookRadio.com, a leading provider
