Week 2005 / Germany - Because of the success of the
musical tribute, "Swing-Night" -- made in honor of Ambros
Seelos at his 70th birthday in January, the popularity of
the "Swing-Night" concert event has been extended throughout
Germany and Austria during the balance of 2005. •

Troy Cory and the
Brooke Sisters paid tribute from China, singing Ambros
Seelos hits such as: Relax, Hey Sweet Honey, Honey, and
Sing, Sing, Sing. Portions of the original Ambros-Swing
show, as well as the segments video taped at the Audi
automobile plant in Ingolstadt, Germany are part of the Troy
Cory Show WiFi90 webcast, beamed from China on
XingTv.
• • Ticket prices for the October 14th concert, at the Linzer Brucknerhaus, Linz, Austria start at 36.00 to 49 Euros. See Editor's Byline For More Information (in both English and German). • The Birthday Gala was hosted by the Bavarian town of Muehldorf at the Muehldorfer Stadtsaal. The musician friends performing on stage with Ambros included renown bandleaders: Max Greger, Hugo Strasser, Hazy Osterwald, Paul Wuerges and recording artists, Karel Gott, and Gloria. • • The Mayor of Muehldorf, Guenter Knoblauch, thanked Seelos for the many joys he brought to his audiences over the last decades. The Gala included the stage performances of Fredl Fesl, the Zick-Sisters, tenor Marioano Spagniolo, and ex-orchester singer Joe Curtis. Ambros and Margit Seelos especially enjoyed the musical number by their 3 sons Ambros, Dominik, and Maximilian. • • Amongst the full house of well-wishers, was arranger/composer, Sylvester Levay, who presently is on tour with his musical "Elisabeth". Levay or sometimes spelled, "Lysy" or Levy", was the co-writer with Troy Cory in Troy's early BBC and Mercury Record recordings, "Hurricane", "Hey, Sweet Honey, Honey, and Relax". • • Levay also composed, "Fly Robin Fly" and "Lady Bump". For "Fly Robin Fly", (Silver Convention), Levay received a Grammy with his writing partner, Michael Kunze. Disney hired Levay to produce the music score for "Roger Rabbit" and "Howard the Duck".
